The dual family history is the cradle of Euroceppi’s passion, uniqueness, and quality, shaped by a familial artisanal and entrepreneurial talent that, over the years, has given life to a true art form, that of producing premium cutting boards and blocks, today a true mark of guarantee. On one hand, the craftsmanship of the Spinelli family, and on the other, the entrepreneurial spirit of the Crippa family, which over the years have intertwined to find the winning combination in what has become Euroceppi today: an authoritative reality, appreciated for the quality of its products.
Stories of blocks, achievements, and passions.
In 1922, the Spinelli family opened the shutters of their first carpentry shop in Albino, in the province of Bergamo: on the table, a few tools to start, but many dreams, ambitions, and a willingness to take risks. In 1940, those dreams became reality with the certification that officially recognized them as a business dealing in butchery articles, delivering them to the local community as the most authoritative producers of blocks. Meanwhile, the Crippa family also began to write the first chapters of their entrepreneurial story. It all starts in 1953 when Franco Crippa moves to the city of opportunities, Milan, to start his career as a butcher, and then make the big leap with the opening, years later, of his “Crippa Franco Artigiano”, a company in Switzerland that soon becomes a renowned and award-winning blocks specialist abroad.
The union of ingredients that makes Euroceppi
It is in the 1980s that the stories of the two families begin to meet. From the union of ideas, experiences, and talents, Spinelli Ceppi is born, offspring of a philosophy that begins to look at modernity with great interest. Although it only lasts a few years, followed by vicissitudes of separations and mergers, it is clear that it marked the beginning of something destined to become great.
Specialization in the trade, entrepreneurial professionalism, and the ability to innovate – the common thread that unites the two families – will converge in 1995 into a single company, which will be called Euroceppi. The production is unified, processes optimized, and with them, economic and strategic opportunities. In a short time, Euroceppi becomes a structured reality that invests in the technological transition of its equipment, to secure its place at the forefront both on the national and international market.
Between innovations, achievement, and partnerships.
The road towards specialization and innovation is now downhill. With a restyling of processes and machinery, Euroceppi gains total control over its production, thus ensuring its full traceability. In 2014, it also conquers the television stage, inaugurating a series of prestigious partnerships with the main Show Cooking of the square. And in 2018, significant investments in research, technology, and staff training lead to the opening of a new technological hub in Stezzano (BG). In 2022, Euroceppi blows out the 100th candle of its incredible story.
